Hi, I'm Lee.
Hi, I'm Lee Moore. As the founder of Equity, Education & Advocacy, I am deeply committed to helping families navigate the special education system with confidence. I earned my Juris Doctor from Lincoln Law School and spent more than a decade in family law and as a mediator for the state. While my education and professional background are important, my greatest teacher has been parenthood.
As the mom of two children with IEPs, including one with Cerebral Palsy, I've experienced the questions, frustrations, and victories that come with advocating for a child who needs extra support.
I believe the best outcomes happen when schools and families work together. My goal is to help parents feel informed, prepared and confident every step of the way.
Why I Do This
No parent plans to become an expert in special education. But when your child needs support, that's often exactly what it feels like you're expected to become. I've been there, and no parent should have to figure it out alone. That's why I created Equity, Education and Advocacy.
A Few Things About Me
• I'm a mom to two boys who keep me laughing, humble and constantly on my toes.
• I'm a sucker for a good mystery, reality TV, iced coffees, and pedicures.
• I've been married to my husband James for 10 years and only with his never ending love and support am I able to have this wonderful business.
• I believe our diversity and differences make us stronger and I love and value my neighborhood and my community.
• I laugh loudly, care deeply, and will absolutely celebrate your child's wins right alongside you.
